What we store

When you create an account we store only what is needed to run the platform:

• Name — to identify you and show your position on the leaderboard.
• Email address — used as your login.
• Password — never stored in plain text; we keep only a one-way encrypted hash (bcrypt).

We also store your learning progress (exercises attempted, scores, badges and points) and the date you accepted this policy.

Why we store it

We process this data on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) to provide your account, track your progress, and rank learners on the leaderboard. Your name, points, and badge count are visible to other signed-in learners on the leaderboard. Your email and password are never shown to anyone.

Cookies

We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from My Profile. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

You can also ask to access, correct, or export your data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, contact us at iam@juliodelima.com.br. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer provide your account. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
